Ryan Anzo is a Christian singer, songwriter, and musician, born and based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Since he was a young child, Ry has had an immeasurable passion for music. During Ry’s formative years, his genres of influence were Hip-hop, Pop, and R&B.
Ryan Anzo has been singing and composing music professionally since the early 2000s, and he has played a key role in several Canadian and international groups. He began his career as a vocalist in a group called Exist, and he later transitioned into the R&B Group CRN Soul for five years. In December 2010, he released his debut single “Double Oh” with Toronto-based Kid Klassic, released through elliptic The Symphony Records. More recently, he collaborated with French artist AL'sic on the tracks “Tonight” and “Rise” as part of the 2017 album Stranger.
Since becoming a devout Christian in 2017, the direction of Ry’s music has significantly changed. Ryan Anzo now creates songs to honour God, shows the world the transformational power of Jesus, and invites people into God’s life-changing presence. His latest Praise and Worship single, “We Sing To You”, epitomizes his desire for God to use worshippers as consecrated vessels to reach every nation with the good news of Christ. Ry has been inspired by many Christian artists and groups including Elevation Worship, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, and Maverick City.
As part of his growth as a Christian artist, Ry participated in the Tennessee-based Christian Music Mastery Program, and in November 2021 he had the privilege of spending time in Franklin, TN to collaborate with like-minded songwriters, worship leaders, and artists.
